How to transfer your domain name to Hostmeva

If your domain name is currently with another registrar like GoDaddy, eNom, NameCheap, ect.. and you want to transfer this domain name over to Hostmeva, you will need to follow the steps below before initiating a transfer.

1. Provide your domain's EPP Code (Security Key). When you order a transfer from our website, you will be asked for the domain's EPP code. The transfer can NOT be initiated without this security key.

2. UNLOCK the domain. Please make sure your domain name is UNLOCKED before you initiate a transfer. If your domain name is locked the transfer will fail.

3. No WHOIS protection. Please make sure to DISABLE WHOIS protection on your domain name before initiating a transfer. If your domain name has WHOIS protection enabled the transfer will fail.

4. Make sure the domain's administrative contact details (email, address, phone, ect..) MATCH your own personal info with us. If your domain's contact details DO NOT match your details with us the transfer will fail.

If you have taken the steps above, then you're ready to initiate a transfer for your domain name. You can order your domain's transfer at:

https://www.hostmeva.com/client/cart.php?a=add&domain=transfer

Please know that you DO NOT have to transfer your domain name over to us in order to host it with us! You can simply update your domain's nameservers to point to our servers instead, if you wish to leave your domain with your current registrar.
